Race Unity Speech Award

If you want to be in the chance to win up to $750 for yourself and $750 for the school for a speech about race relations in Aotearoa/ New Zealand, this could be a great opportunity for you. The speech must be 7-8 minutes long, can be in either Te Reo or English, is only available to Yrs11,12,13 and the regional heats are on Weds 23rd and Thurs 24th March.
 
In preparing your speech you must consider the following question:
 
"See you no strangers; rather see all... as friends, for love and unity come hard when [you] fix your gaze on otherness... we must be at one with every people." (Baha'i Writings)
 
Deadline for entries is Friday 11 March.
