Drama has a strong focus on group work. It aims
to introduce all the basic skills that students need to perform as well as
familiarising them with some theatre background. Students, who have an interest in being
creative, imaginative, working in a team and learning new skills by using
them practically, should take this course. Drama develops communication
skills, builds self - confidence, encourages leadership and spontaneity.
Drama students learn to be adaptable, reliable and know how to have serious
fun. This course leads on to Drama in years 10 through to 13 and scholarship.
